Have you ever heard that when you see 11:11 on a digital clock or simular you should make a wish? Have you ever heard that when you see 11:11 it means that your guardian angels is trying to establish contact with you?

My guess is that you have heard a lot of different things… Some people see it as superstition other see it as a spiritual activity. However most people have never even considered what it is.

In this post I will give you as many answers as possible to what the 11:11 phenomenon is. I made another post earlier on what 11:11 is according to others. In this post I will try to elaborate a little bit more.

Have you never heard of the 11:11 Phenomenon?

Eh.. What is 11:11 you said?

When people talk about the 11:11 time prompt phenomenon it is not just about seeing 11:11 on a digital clock. There is more to this. It is not just seeing the numbers 11:11 on a clock, receipt, license plate etc.. that makes people talk about this. What happens when people notice these numbers (or other meaningful number combinations) is that they feel different. A lot of people report that they feel some kind of presence. They just feel different. It kind of feels like something or someone is trying to contact you.

If you have friends or family experiencing this, then don´t be to alarmed. This is something that maybe even millions of people all over the world talk about. The reports regarding the 11:11 phenomenon is also increasing for each year. Skeptic? Then why don´t you make a search for 11:11 on Google and see for yourself how many people that write about this on their websites and blogs. There are also tons of books (some of them here) out there regarding the 11:11 time prompt phenomenon.

If you are new to this then please read this 11:11 article by Steve Pavlina. I often use that article by Steve to introduce others to this topic. I think he did a really good job explaining the basics of what the 11:11 numerology phenomenon is all about. He managed to nail it without sounding to crazy. If you experience the 11:11 phenomenon yourself then be cautious of how you introduce this topic to others. I have seen many examples of people explaining this in a way that makes them look “tin foil hat” crazy..

Personally, I was shocked when I found out that this is happening to so many people. I kind of felt that I was alone. I know now that I am far from alone. That´s a certificate saying “I´m not crazy” basically.

For how long has this been going on?

This has been going on for a long time. Some people say they have been seeing this since 20-30 years back. However for the last couple of years it has really exploded. Veterans to the 11:11 phenomenon talk about a first and a second wave. Personally (if you want to divide it into first + second wave) I belong to the second wave since I have only been seeing this for a couple of years. It took me a long time to accept it since it involves you to radically change your view of the world and who you really are. People that are deep into this talk about “activation“. Some see it as a kind of activation or some kind of inaguration to a new way of seeing things.

Is this some kind of sect, cult or religion?

I gave you that specific question above for a reason. I am a very skeptical person. I don´t buy things easily. I am the kind of person that thinks twice or even three times before I get into something. I am from Sweden and a lot of Americans/Canadians have the idea that swedish people are well you know… see this humourous quote I found:

A Suede has his own teeth. He is usually punctual, honest, clean and lives by the law. A typical example of that showes at any intersection. Dispyte the weather he will kindly wait until he gets the green light. He is rather soaked than crossing an empty street with a red light. Another example is that the suede always use the seatbelt, never drive drunk, always paying the TV-license bill (actually I do not own a TV) , normally pays his taxes in time, always brings two bags outside, walking the dog ( to take up the shit) and never takes a bath after 22:00.

Typical for the suede is also that he is very carefull and almost never do anything impusive and spontanious (I´m working on this) ..(possibly sneeze!): to him: all choices is a question of life or death. A simple thing as buying a cheese: Where other europeans takes anything, a suede can taste at least ten different kinds of Brie before he decides to buy exactly 200 grams of Brie of a specific kind.

It is this carefullness that stoppes him from trowing himself into marriage! (Or other uncertain situations) Instead he pics out a female and lives with her a couple of years, gets two kids and not until then, if she still seems okay (and it is a Sunday and if it is my birthday), he propose!

I have to say that the quote above actually kind of accurately describes my personality very precisely. The point is that I am not just writing this post because I´ve heard someone mentioning 11:11. The truth is that years of experience made me write this. I hope you don´t think I am a to stiff of a character by now (after reading that quote). As usual there is always two sides of a coin. A typical “suede´s” impression of the average American is that they are very dumb and slightly overweight. Sorry!!! I had to say that just to outbalance.. (this won´t stop you from leaving a comment I hope..) Now let´s skip the crap and get back to the real deal here. I will talk about the concept of duality later on.

So about sects, cults etc… Well.. in some fruit baskets there might be some bad apples. In the 11:11 basket I know for sure that there are some bad apples. So what is my definition of a bad apple? In this case a bad apple is anyone that asks you to do something for them without you get nothing back. It is as simple as that. Don´t listen to people that want you to do something for them without getting nothing back. It is OK to be critical, even to the ones you love. If they truly love you then they will understand. Avoid any person or organization (or whatever) that constantly is making you feel like you are pressured. If you don´t own anything then you have nothing to lose.

One 11:11 specific experience will decide what your take on this will be?

Ok, here is an example: The (considered to be) crazy guy in your art class (or whatever) says that 11:11 is a sign from the gods. Let´s say this is relevant to your situation… OK? You might think that he is crazy? See it from different angles.

Now understand this: the 11:11 Phenomenon is an highly individual experience. See it this way: If someone (very different from you) would try to contact you, then would not he, she, it or them try to contact you in a highly individual way. Just (for one second) imagine that the entity or the entitys trying to contact you are actually more intelligent then you are. Do you think that it is possible that someone more intelligent then you might exist? How do you think they would contact you? Would they send you emails or SMS messages to your mobile phone? I think not. They would expect you to meet them half-way. Can you imagine if this would really be true. See it this way: Let´s say you would take a walk in the forest, suddenly you see a deer. You would feel an urge to contact that deer. How would you try to contact that deer? Would you ask for the deer´s email adress? I think not!! What kind of method would you try? The answer is simple… You would try to set yourself in that deer´s perspective as much as possible and then send out signals that you think would affect that animal in a way that you intended it to. So how would you try to contact that animal? If you can answer that question you are already halfway through what I am trying to say here.

This can be very simple to understand and yet so complex… UNLEARN!! Everything that you have learned (when it comes to communication) might not be the optimal way to contact other type of beings (animals or whatever you want to categorize them as). Have you ever considered that there might be other languages then english existing? How do you think animals communicate? Almost all types of animals flee a certain area before an earthquake for example. Some humans can detect this as well… However most humans have no idea before such as an event would take place. They are numb, almost as if they have lost their true touch. Why do you think that is? It has to do with what I would call awareness. What I am trying to say here is that we are on our way to forgetting.

This has do to with awareness. This is something also known as gut feeling, intuition etc. Do you really think all that just is superstition? Wait just a minute here.. If you trust your intution then you know what I am talking about. This is very important, if you have a friend or someone in your family saying that you absolutely should not make that trip you have planed then listen to them! If they say that you should not go on that trip then you have to try to listen to your own inner voice or intution to decide what is right for you.

What does 11:11 mean?

When you are starting to experience the 11:11 time prompts you will most likely gradually change your perspective on your life as well as on how you see the world. To many people 11:11 is a wake up call. Some people describe it as an alarm going of making a lot of noise and it won´t stop until you get the point.

It´s not just 11:11

There are other time prompts as well connected to this. Some people report seeing 22:22 or 777 as an example. It is about the meaning you attach to the numbers you are seeing. Personally, I have been getting a lot of 11:14, 114, 411, 441 signs. They all represent death to me. In order to understand this I should write a post about duality, but for now I will leave you with this quote:

You are standing in a room of darkness…  In the begining you feel a lot of of pain. Once you get used to all this you are starting to feel normal. You are no longer affected by the intense darkness. After a while things get boring and you fumble around in the room looking for basically anything new (any new experience whatsoever) After you have looked around in the room for a long while you find the light switch. You turn it on and get blinded by the light. You immediately turn it of because the experience was to intense. So you keep fumbling around and in the back of your head you are thinking of that scary experience with the light. After a while you get curious and start wanting to explore that light feeling.. You know by experince that you can not turn the lights on because that will make you blinded and feel very uncomfortable. So you start looking for options. You look around this room that you are locked into and after a while you finally find this dimmer swith. This allows you to gradually experience the light. This is what you have been looking for.

Death Processes

This is the most difficult one to explain. Do not be afraid. So many people that are seeing 11:11 are reporting that they are going throuh so called death processes. Sometimes when you least expect it you get signs telling you that death is imminent. Shortly after that you start losing touch with your version of reality. Suddenly you feel like you are about to die. You truly feel like you are about to leave this reality for good and might react very strongly to this. (Crying and a feeling of braking apart is commonly reported) However, don´t worry to much. This has happened to me and everytime this happens you will rebound with an unexpected strength you could not even imagine before this happened. To truly gain knowledge you have to leave your old self behind you. This is what made me leave my old way of viewing reality. Personally I think this is what people refer to as getting “reborn”. For example there are many stories about “Christians” being reborn.

The Dark side of 11:11 (Fear)

Did you expect this to be only fun and games? Well.. in that case your guess is wrong. The duality that we are living in requries you to experience both sides of the lawn. The grass is always greener on the other side, right? One side will always be very pleasant, the other side will be the opposite. The side that you don´t prefer (you can call that hell) is something that is completly natural. It is not something you should try to avoid. It is something that you should try to understand. If you can not imagine hell then you can never appreciate heaven. This is the concept of duality. Have you seen the old Disney movies. Donald duck makes a move and suddenly his angel speaks to him from his left side and his devil speaks to him from his right side.

Fear

The more pain you feel, the more you will appreciate love when you get it. This is something that most of the people I know don´t agree with. Wait!! does this mean that you should expose yourself to pain? … Well… In a controlled manner I would say. To much and you will die!. To little and you will not get propelled at all.

The Bright side (Love)

This will smoothly transfer me into the concept of LOVE.

After you have been going through these death processes you will have an unexpected appreciation for life itself. Everything that you see will be highly appreciated and seen as a miracle. A walk in the forest can result in you breaking down and starting to cry. It won´t be tears of sorrow. It will be tears of pure bliss. For the first time you will be crying because you can not believe how lucky you are. Seeing a bird flying can lead to a mental breakdown. What have you done to deserve to see this beautiful creation in action? Everything is so beautiful. I can not believe how lucky I am to experience this. I am truly blessed. For the first time in my life I actaully honestly and deeply appreciate being here. This is truly amazing. How do you explain this to someone who have not experienced this yet, well you can´t. You have to be patient and wait for them to feel the love.  Hang in there. Actually, right now when I am writing this post I am crying (tears of joy) because of previous experices relating to this. Being aware will make you very sensitive if you try to take your mask of. (Take it off! it will be worth it)

11:11 and Synchronicity

Ok, this is one of my favourite parts when it comes to the 11:11 phenomenon. So first of all what is synchronicity? Well, to explain it shortly it would be this:

Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events which are causally unrelated occurring together in a supposedly meanigful manner. In order to count as synchronicity, the events should be unlikely to occur together by chance.

The sweet thing about this is that almost all “eleveners” have experience of extreme symptoms of synchronicity. This is not uncommon at all.

I have had numerous cases of extreme synchronicity. It usually comes in waves. As an example the latest synchronisity event for me was the “Florida signs“. Florida has been a keyword for me in my synchronicity research for a long time. However for the latest couple of months the “signs” pointing to Florida has not only doubled, more accurately I would say that have been present 10x as much as normal.

To understand this let me briefly explain this.. Ok, this will be though because this a personal matter. If you don´t understand this I am totally OK with that. BTW, this is what synchronicity is all about it is mostly personal.

The Florida connection (Synchronicity)

A while back ago (2 years or so) I used to keep a journal of all my research. I had a book which I called “The puzzle” where I wrote everything down. I later realized that it was impossible to keep track of all signs and interconnect them in that book. The signs where simply to many and to often occuring for me to keep track of everything. If I would have kept on making notes in that book I would by now been in to my 20´th book or so. So I decided to stop writing everything down and only go with my gut feeling on everything that I would encounter. So far that has been going great.

So, anyway… Florida as a geographical location had been one of keywords for a long time. Suddenly a lot of signs where pointing to Florida all at once. Here is just some personal examples for me:

• I got an email from one of my clients saying that he was about to go on a “Vacation to Florida” This particular client usually don´t send me any personal emails.. so of course I reflected a bit about this.
• One of my business colleagues pointed out that he booked a trip to Florida and described how lucky he was to stress out for a little while.
• I looked at my wall and realized that I had a plate saying “Miami Beach – Florida, just 10 hrs from NY” on my wall. It´s been there for years but I never reflected about it.
• I logged in to browse the statistics for this website and this particular night most of the visitors came from.. well you guessed it.. Florida.
• I got a PM from a Youtube user who turned out to be the author of the book 11:11 by Doreen Serrano. Here is the trailer for that book. She just happened to live in Florida. Both in real life and also in the book about 11:11 she wrote. (I might post a review of that book later on)
• The company I just recently used to work for (recently quit) has an adress in Ft Lauderdale: Getupdated Internet Marketing LLC
  One East Broward Blvd
  Suite 1110
  Ft Lauderdale, Fl 33301 USA (Coincidence?) I think not…
• There are a lot of other examples making me think of Florida, but most them are to personal for me to write here. It is simply signs that only have meaning to me (or possibly family members).

Ok!? So what does that mean?

Well, according to the example above it means that I will somehow be connected to some sort of Synchronicity to Florida. As usual it can be anything. Normally I will find out only after the actaul interesting experience takes place. Just because I have seen the signs for Florida does not mean that (me personally) will experience this. Sometime you see things from other people´s eyes. This has happenes to me before. However it is a sign that I am definetly one way or another connected to Florida.

I once saw the sceleton of my stove in a dream. I connected that dream to some kind of horrible dream. Later on, my mom stayed in my apartment while I was on a trip to Canada. At that time they were replacing the stove´s in my apartment complex to newer ones. She said to me that they deconsrtructed the stove in my apartment making it look like a sceleton. Coincidence? I think not..
