Have you ever heard that when you see 11:11 on a digital clock or simular you should make a wish? Have you ever heard that when you see 11:11 it means that your guardian angels is trying to establish contact with you?
My guess is that you have heard a lot of different things… Some people see it as superstition other see it as a spiritual activity. However most people have never even considered what it is.
In this post I will give you as many answers as possible to what the 11:11 phenomenon is. I made another post earlier on what 11:11 is according to others. In this post I will try to elaborate a little bit more.
Have you never heard of the 11:11 Phenomenon?
Eh.. What is 11:11 you said?
When people talk about the 11:11 time prompt phenomenon it is not just about seeing 11:11 on a digital clock. There is more to this. It is not just seeing the numbers 11:11 on a clock, receipt, license plate etc.. that makes people talk about this. What happens when people notice these numbers (or other meaningful number combinations) is that they feel different. A lot of people report that they feel some kind of presence. They just feel different. It kind of feels like something or someone is trying to contact you.
If you have friends or family experiencing this, then don´t be to alarmed. This is something that maybe even millions of people all over the world talk about. The reports regarding the 11:11 phenomenon is also increasing for each year. Skeptic? Then why don´t you make a search for 11:11 on Google and see for yourself how many people that write about this on their websites and blogs. There are also tons of books (some of them here) out there regarding the 11:11 time prompt phenomenon.
If you are new to this then please read this 11:11 article by Steve Pavlina. I often use that article by Steve to introduce others to this topic. I think he did a really good job explaining the basics of what the 11:11 numerology phenomenon is all about. He managed to nail it without sounding to crazy. If you experience the 11:11 phenomenon yourself then be cautious of how you introduce this topic to others. I have seen many examples of people explaining this in a way that makes them look “tin foil hat” crazy..
Personally, I was shocked when I found out that this is happening to so many people. I kind of felt that I was alone. I know now that I am far from alone. That´s a certificate saying “I´m not crazy” basically.
For how long has this been going on?
This has been going on for a long time. Some people say they have been seeing this since 20-30 years back. However for the last couple of years it has really exploded. Veterans to the 11:11 phenomenon talk about a first and a second wave. Personally (if you want to divide it into first + second wave) I belong to the second wave since I have only been seeing this for a couple of years. It took me a long time to accept it since it involves you to radically change your view of the world and who you really are. People that are deep into this talk about “activation“. Some see it as a kind of activation or some kind of inaguration to a new way of seeing things.
Is this some kind of sect, cult or religion?
I gave you that specific question above for a reason. I am a very skeptical person. I don´t buy things easily. I am the kind of person that thinks twice or even three times before I get into something. I am from Sweden and a lot of Americans/Canadians have the idea that swedish people are well you know… see this humourous quote I found:
A Suede has his own teeth. He is usually punctual, honest, clean and lives by the law. A typical example of that showes at any intersection. Dispyte the weather he will kindly wait until he gets the green light. He is rather soaked than crossing an empty street with a red light. Another example is that the suede always use the seatbelt, never drive drunk, always paying the TV-license bill (actually I do not own a TV) , normally pays his taxes in time, always brings two bags outside, walking the dog ( to take up the shit) and never takes a bath after 22:00.
Typical for the suede is also that he is very carefull and almost never do anything impusive and spontanious (I´m working on this) ..(possibly sneeze!): to him: all choices is a question of life or death. A simple thing as buying a cheese: Where other europeans takes anything, a suede can taste at least ten different kinds of Brie before he decides to buy exactly 200 grams of Brie of a specific kind.
It is this carefullness that stoppes him from trowing himself into marriage! (Or other uncertain situations) Instead he pics out a female and lives with her a couple of years, gets two kids and not until then, if she still seems okay (and it is a Sunday and if it is my birthday), he propose!
I have to say that the quote above actually kind of accurately describes my personality very precisely. The point is that I am not just writing this post because I´ve heard someone mentioning 11:11. The truth is that years of experience made me write this. I hope you don´t think I am a to stiff of a character by now (after reading that quote). As usual there is always two sides of a coin. A typical “suede´s” impression of the average American is that they are very dumb and slightly overweight. Sorry!!! I had to say that just to outbalance.. (this won´t stop you from leaving a comment I hope..) Now let´s skip the crap and get back to the real deal here. I will talk about the concept of duality later on.
So about sects, cults etc… Well.. in some fruit baskets there might be some bad apples. In the 11:11 basket I know for sure that there are some bad apples. So what is my definition of a bad apple? In this case a bad apple is anyone that asks you to do something for them without you get nothing back. It is as simple as that. Don´t listen to people that want you to do something for them without getting nothing back. It is OK to be critical, even to the ones you love. If they truly love you then they will understand. Avoid any person or organization (or whatever) that constantly is making you feel like you are pressured. If you don´t own anything then you have nothing to lose.
One 11:11 specific experience will decide what your take on this will be?
Ok, here is an example: The (considered to be) crazy guy in your art class (or whatever) says that 11:11 is a sign from the gods. Let´s say this is relevant to your situation… OK? You might think that he is crazy? See it from different angles.
Now understand this: the 11:11 Phenomenon is an highly individual experience. See it this way: If someone (very different from you) would try to contact you, then would not he, she, it or them try to contact you in a highly individual way. Just (for one second) imagine that the entity or the entitys trying to contact you are actually more intelligent then you are. Do you think that it is possible that someone more intelligent then you might exist? How do you think they would contact you? Would they send you emails or SMS messages to your mobile phone? I think not. They would expect you to meet them half-way. Can you imagine if this would really be true. See it this way: Let´s say you would take a walk in the forest, suddenly you see a deer. You would feel an urge to contact that deer. How would you try to contact that deer? Would you ask for the deer´s email adress? I think not!! What kind of method would you try? The answer is simple… You would try to set yourself in that deer´s perspective as much as possible and then send out signals that you think would affect that animal in a way that you intended it to. So how would you try to contact that animal? If you can answer that question you are already halfway through what I am trying to say here.
This can be very simple to understand and yet so complex… UNLEARN!! Everything that you have learned (when it comes to communication) might not be the optimal way to contact other type of beings (animals or whatever you want to categorize them as). Have you ever considered that there might be other languages then english existing? How do you think animals communicate? Almost all types of animals flee a certain area before an earthquake for example. Some humans can detect this as well… However most humans have no idea before such as an event would take place. They are numb, almost as if they have lost their true touch. Why do you think that is? It has to do with what I would call awareness. What I am trying to say here is that we are on our way to forgetting.
This has do to with awareness. This is something also known as gut feeling, intuition etc. Do you really think all that just is superstition? Wait just a minute here.. If you trust your intution then you know what I am talking about. This is very important, if you have a friend or someone in your family saying that you absolutely should not make that trip you have planed then listen to them! If they say that you should not go on that trip then you have to try to listen to your own inner voice or intution to decide what is right for you.
What does 11:11 mean?
When you are starting to experience the 11:11 time prompts you will most likely gradually change your perspective on your life as well as on how you see the world. To many people 11:11 is a wake up call. Some people describe it as an alarm going of making a lot of noise and it won´t stop until you get the point.

It´s not just 11:11
There are other time prompts as well connected to this. Some people report seeing 22:22 or 777 as an example. It is about the meaning you attach to the numbers you are seeing. Personally, I have been getting a lot of 11:14, 114, 411, 441 signs. They all represent death to me. In order to understand this I should write a post about duality, but for now I will leave you with this quote:
You are standing in a room of darkness… In the begining you feel a lot of of pain. Once you get used to all this you are starting to feel normal. You are no longer affected by the intense darkness. After a while things get boring and you fumble around in the room looking for basically anything new (any new experience whatsoever) After you have looked around in the room for a long while you find the light switch. You turn it on and get blinded by the light. You immediately turn it of because the experience was to intense. So you keep fumbling around and in the back of your head you are thinking of that scary experience with the light. After a while you get curious and start wanting to explore that light feeling.. You know by experince that you can not turn the lights on because that will make you blinded and feel very uncomfortable. So you start looking for options. You look around this room that you are locked into and after a while you finally find this dimmer swith. This allows you to gradually experience the light. This is what you have been looking for.
Death Processes
This is the most difficult one to explain. Do not be afraid. So many people that are seeing 11:11 are reporting that they are going throuh so called death processes. Sometimes when you least expect it you get signs telling you that death is imminent. Shortly after that you start losing touch with your version of reality. Suddenly you feel like you are about to die. You truly feel like you are about to leave this reality for good and might react very strongly to this. (Crying and a feeling of braking apart is commonly reported) However, don´t worry to much. This has happened to me and everytime this happens you will rebound with an unexpected strength you could not even imagine before this happened. To truly gain knowledge you have to leave your old self behind you. This is what made me leave my old way of viewing reality. Personally I think this is what people refer to as getting “reborn”. For example there are many stories about “Christians” being reborn.

The Dark side of 11:11 (Fear)
Did you expect this to be only fun and games? Well.. in that case your guess is wrong. The duality that we are living in requries you to experience both sides of the lawn. The grass is always greener on the other side, right? One side will always be very pleasant, the other side will be the opposite. The side that you don´t prefer (you can call that hell) is something that is completly natural. It is not something you should try to avoid. It is something that you should try to understand. If you can not imagine hell then you can never appreciate heaven. This is the concept of duality. Have you seen the old Disney movies. Donald duck makes a move and suddenly his angel speaks to him from his left side and his devil speaks to him from his right side.
Fear
The more pain you feel, the more you will appreciate love when you get it. This is something that most of the people I know don´t agree with. Wait!! does this mean that you should expose yourself to pain? … Well… In a controlled manner I would say. To much and you will die!. To little and you will not get propelled at all.
The Bright side (Love)
This will smoothly transfer me into the concept of LOVE.
LOve
After you have been going through these death processes you will have an unexpected appreciation for life itself. Everything that you see will be highly appreciated and seen as a miracle. A walk in the forest can result in you breaking down and starting to cry. It won´t be tears of sorrow. It will be tears of pure bliss. For the first time you will be crying because you can not believe how lucky you are. Seeing a bird flying can lead to a mental breakdown. What have you done to deserve to see this beautiful creation in action? Everything is so beautiful. I can not believe how lucky I am to experience this. I am truly blessed. For the first time in my life I actaully honestly and deeply appreciate being here. This is truly amazing. How do you explain this to someone who have not experienced this yet, well you can´t. You have to be patient and wait for them to feel the love. Hang in there. Actually, right now when I am writing this post I am crying (tears of joy) because of previous experices relating to this. Being aware will make you very sensitive if you try to take your mask of. (Take it off! it will be worth it)
11:11 and Synchronicity
Ok, this is one of my favourite parts when it comes to the 11:11 phenomenon. So first of all what is synchronicity? Well, to explain it shortly it would be this:
Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events which are causally unrelated occurring together in a supposedly meanigful manner. In order to count as synchronicity, the events should be unlikely to occur together by chance.
The sweet thing about this is that almost all “eleveners” have experience of extreme symptoms of synchronicity. This is not uncommon at all.
I have had numerous cases of extreme synchronicity. It usually comes in waves. As an example the latest synchronisity event for me was the “Florida signs“. Florida has been a keyword for me in my synchronicity research for a long time. However for the latest couple of months the “signs” pointing to Florida has not only doubled, more accurately I would say that have been present 10x as much as normal.
To understand this let me briefly explain this.. Ok, this will be though because this a personal matter. If you don´t understand this I am totally OK with that. BTW, this is what synchronicity is all about it is mostly personal.
The Florida connection (Synchronicity)
A while back ago (2 years or so) I used to keep a journal of all my research. I had a book which I called “The puzzle” where I wrote everything down. I later realized that it was impossible to keep track of all signs and interconnect them in that book. The signs where simply to many and to often occuring for me to keep track of everything. If I would have kept on making notes in that book I would by now been in to my 20´th book or so. So I decided to stop writing everything down and only go with my gut feeling on everything that I would encounter. So far that has been going great.
So, anyway… Florida as a geographical location had been one of keywords for a long time. Suddenly a lot of signs where pointing to Florida all at once. Here is just some personal examples for me:
- I got an email from one of my clients saying that he was about to go on a “Vacation to Florida” This particular client usually don´t send me any personal emails.. so of course I reflected a bit about this.
- One of my business colleagues pointed out that he booked a trip to Florida and described how lucky he was to stress out for a little while.
- I looked at my wall and realized that I had a plate saying “Miami Beach – Florida, just 10 hrs from NY” on my wall. It´s been there for years but I never reflected about it.
- I logged in to browse the statistics for this website and this particular night most of the visitors came from.. well you guessed it.. Florida.
- I got a PM from a Youtube user who turned out to be the author of the book 11:11 by Doreen Serrano. Here is the trailer for that book. She just happened to live in Florida. Both in real life and also in the book about 11:11 she wrote. (I might post a review of that book later on)
- The company I just recently used to work for (recently quit) has an adress in Ft Lauderdale: Getupdated Internet Marketing LLC

Ft Lauderdale, Fl 33301 USA (Coincidence?) I think not… - There are a lot of other examples making me think of Florida, but most them are to personal for me to write here. It is simply signs that only have meaning to me (or possibly family members).
Ok!? So what does that mean?
Well, according to the example above it means that I will somehow be connected to some sort of Synchronicity to Florida. As usual it can be anything. Normally I will find out only after the actaul interesting experience takes place. Just because I have seen the signs for Florida does not mean that (me personally) will experience this. Sometime you see things from other people´s eyes. This has happenes to me before. However it is a sign that I am definetly one way or another connected to Florida.
I once saw the sceleton of my stove in a dream. I connected that dream to some kind of horrible dream. Later on, my mom stayed in my apartment while I was on a trip to Canada. At that time they were replacing the stove´s in my apartment complex to newer ones. She said to me that they deconsrtructed the stove in my apartment making it look like a sceleton. Coincidence? I think not..

I have to digest this a bit more, as I just discovered this site and am having extreme synchronicity right now…
I found this site through an unrelated search directing me to your post about Aleister Crowley and 11:11. I left a comment there in response to someone else’s comment about a dream they had that sounded similar to one I recently had as well. And in my comment, I mentioned how when I first started noticing 11:11 (back in the 90’s, when I was in my teens/early 20s) I felt that I should make a wish. Where that came from, I don’t know.
Then I started browsing because I found your site interesting, and the very next post I clicked on is this one, which begins with “Have you ever heard that when you see 11:11 on a digital clock or simular you should make a wish?” Curious for two reasons: Besides that fact that I just finished writing about that very thing, I’ve also never actually heard about the wishing thing, it was just something I instinctively did… so bizarre. I will comment again on your actual post after I’ve had time to properly read and digest it without feeling like OMG!OMG! And I am definitely bookmarking this site…

The make a “wish thing” is commonly reported by many that see 11:11 and simular time prompts. I have been making research on this phenomenon for a while now since I have had a lot of personal experience and I can tell that you are far from alone with the “make a wish” concept. People from other countries who think Americans are dumb usually have never been here and/or watch to much TV and believe what journalist write. Funny how the richest of the rich from all countries around the world come here for their medical problems. I guess that’s because we are so dumb. When professional people come here to work, they don’t want to go back home and when they do the only reason is because of family ties. If they could bring their entire family here they would in a heart beat!Yes you Swedes are a real powerhouse of genius aren’t you. I’m sorry tell me again when the last time was Sweden was considered a world power of any kind. Did I miss something. I live in the Houston area and have gone through several hurricanes, and the one thing that is evident is the difference between native citizens and people from other countries. When disasters hit like Hurricane Ike back in September we all went to work, cleaned up, help each other, and never called authorities for anything, except our individual insurance companies. We had a couple of familes from socialist countries down the street and they were lost. They sat there waiting for police to come, waiting for govenment, any kind of government to come help them! We all finally had to take them by the hand and make them understand that they could go to work and we would help them, or they could let rain come into their home and have everything ruined. It was sad to watch! They were like babies. So you might think we are dumb, but we are smart enough to stop the rain from coming in when a tree crashes on our home or knocks out a window. And we sure don’t stand on a street corner when there’s no traffic in pouring rain, waiting for a green light to turn red!!!

Until this morning, I didn’t know other people were experiencing the 11:11 phenomenon. For several years, my eyes have been drawn to a digital clock at exactly 11:11. It can happen at home, at work, or while driving. It’s not preceded by a desire to know the time, it just “happens”. For a few moments, my attention remains focussed on 11:11, and I just get a feeling that it means something. It doesn’t happen really often, but regularly enough that I know it’s not a coincidence. I can’t remember exactly when it began, but at least 10, maybe 15, years ago. I’ve been noticing synchronicities for about the same period of time.
I haven’t shared this with anyone before, because I thought it was only happening to me. In a way, I’m glad I was laid off from my job, and have time to research things on the computer, and this morning I googled 11:11.

I have been dealing with 11:11 (as well as 10:10, 12:34, 1:11, 3:33, 4:44 and the numbers 14 and 23) for a little more than 3 years. I am a 25 y.o. male in Texas and I have KNOWN since I was a child that I was meant for something important.
I have travelled a path for 10 years that seems to be beyond my control (No matter what I WANT or think I SHOULD do, outside events and other people lead me elsewhere. The worst part is that I am pretty willful so the last 10 years of my life my will has partially been fighting this controlled path.).
I found a girl two years ago that has experienced the same sort of lack of control (and consistent sightings of 11:11) no matter how hard she fought and now we are engaged. Both of us know that something is happening.
I am at a public library right now and saw that the time was 10:33 a.m. and that the amount of time I have left on this computer was 33 mins. That tells me that this 11:11 site has some synchronocity to me personally.
I know this is kinda rambling, but I am not sure what to say as I have no “proof” that 11:11 IS something important, but by god I KNOW IT in myself.
By this time, I have 23 mins. left in my library session…I spent a lot of this time reading more and contemplating what to write here. Since I am not sure I will wrap it up.
Beware anyone that tells you ANYTHING. Question everything. Find things out for yourself. Save the cheerleader and all that.

i have been feeling different the last few weeks. that the reality that we are living in is not what we think it is.. everything that we have been taught , might be flawed, and that we are not fully aware of our origins and we are accepting what we know because it is convenient and simple. iv too been experiencing the 11:11 phenomenon for about 3-4 years now.
but not just the number 11:11, but also 1:11,2:22,3:33,4:44,10:10,12:12 and 5:55
im only 15 years of age so please excuse my spelling mistakes.
many of my friends that iv told about this think weird and they have said things like ‘your going to die’. but until … OMG im not joking i just.. JUST then i looked at the computer time.. and it was 11:11. freaky, but as i was saying. they believe me now because the countless occasions i have been with them and i have seen these numbers. eg. a couple of days ago i was at the movies with my mate and we were waiting for people to rock up. i asked him ‘bro, whats the time?’. he then pulled out his phone and gave it to me. it was 5:55, i showed him and he said i was weird once again. but he knows now that this is no joke, and that it must mean something and a lot of my other mates are beginning to relies this as well.
but im not quite sure what you mean by Synchronicity. im not sure if i know exactly how knowing what you synch to can help or make me understand more about this.
please help, im very curious about this.

What about 3:11? that is the one that I always see. even the address to the first house I lived in as a child was 311. Now I see 3:11 everywhere, but also 9:11; 10:11; etc.

Hi, I’m from Puerto Rico and almost 2 years ago i have being experiencing 11:11 everywhere from the clock to telephones, to almost everywhere i go…but right now if at least i don’t see it once a day i kind of feel worry so when i see it i don’t know to who but i thanks for see the numbers jajaj…now is something that belongs to me and is part of my life and i feel relief when i see it…its weird but i feel special and safe…im not crazy believe me but im used to it…

I search this site in connections with 2012……11:11 is the time that things will change forever…. Which in its self hit a core with me…since 11:11 is the one time that i know i’ll see on the clock twice aday…… and it is very rare that i don’t see it…. This is also the time that my first child was born…..So for the last 13 years Ive been sure to see this time every day….. and it does make you feel connected to something bigger then your self….. With that being said anytime I see the numbers together I always say….THANK YOU JESUS…. My children now also do the same….. This number has been part of my life for so long and many people haved asked why I say Thank you Jesus…. instead of making a wish….. I feel that the wish has already been given and the proof is in the hour…..I’ve always known that there is a higher reason that these numbers are in my life and i’ll be able to rejoice when the connection is made…. My signs started with 11:11, and I started taking note everytime I saw 11:11. This was bothering me, this was to much coincidence. I finally looked it up, and realized I am not the only one. Everytime I have a number “sign”, something in my life changes. I heard a very clear voice, as if wispered in my ear “change is come” I hear many one word voice prompts. This I am noticing more frequently. Who is this? Why am I chosen to receive these messages? If I have a midwayer (guardian), then why me? What is my purpose? How am I supposed to use this to my advantage? Am I to be the one to comfort souls in the year 2011?
Am I making any sense?

I have experienced 11 11 since I was born. I was born on the 11am hour, of the 11th day of the 11 month of ‘66. Every year I am reminded of it. BUT about 10 years ago I started to see 11’s. I remember I was off work very sick with the norwalk virus. One day I woke up, rolled over in bed to look at the clock it said 7:11am. I never thought anyhing of it until the next day. Same thing the next morning I rolled over looked at the clock it 7:11am. I thought that was strange but forgot about before the end of the day. The next morning I remembered about the previous two and decided to just lay there for a while before I looked at the clock. Some time went by, probably about 10-15 minutes. I rolled over to look at the clock….you guessed it 7:11am. This happened every morning for over two weeks. I was confused no matter how I woke up in the morning I would see those numbers. Afterwards it became noticable almost evryday for the past 10 years. 4 years after it started I asked my mother if she had seen anything like this, she completed my sentence before I could finish. She had been seeing if for years as well.
Now I am seeing 11:11 more than all the others, I have experienced periods of seeing: 12:11//11:11//10:11//9:11 all the way to 1:11.
I searched the internet for 7:11 years ago and came up with nothing, until yesterday when 11:11 caught my eye on another completely different search. I am still soaking it all in but from what I can find out I was on the right track; I knew it was message of some kind.

Wow! Not quite sure what to say…I have been seeing the number 11:11 since I was a young child (I am now 40). I have always thought it meant something but was not sure what. When I see it, I too have a funny feeling but it never occurred to me to make a wish. I sort of pushed it to the back of my mind and chalked it up to a coincidence. I never realized so many others were experiencing this as well. I too have long thought I was destined for something and it is hard to express this to others as it sounds kind of arrogant. For about the past two years I have been on a path of self discovery. I have been unsettled (particularly in my work as a teacher). I really do not feel that I am living my life purpose and am trying to figure out where to go from here. In the past two days I keep hearing about numerology so this prompted me to do a search on the number 11:11 and this site came up. I am not sure what to do with this information but it does give me hope that maybe I am on the right track. Good to know that I am not alone! Take care all.

I am clairvoyant and have been flooded with callers in the last 6 months asking why they keep seeing the number 11 in thier dreams. They are very drawn to it noticing it everywhere and ALL seem insistant that it means something very important to thier future. One young girl called very excited because on a rainy Sunday she was drawn to look at her digital clock, which was at 11:11.
As deep as I dig in I never get a solid “answer” to what it means. Am I understanding this right?? It may have different meanings to each person? Can someone help me understand the flood???? Julie

Maybe since the year is 2009, more and more people are doing research into the matter, being 2+9 = 11. I’ve been seeing this time (usually in the PM) for years now, and I keep telling people but most people do say I’m just seeing it subconsciously now, but I don’t believe I am. Like most of you people, I think there is a deeper meaning to it. Are we all connected in some way?
Today is 11/11 – that is why I started researching it today. Time on my clock is 12:59pm right now which comes to 71 or 17, but no 11 there unless you put them together 7117, but I don’t think there is a meaning in that. It’s just weird!

Wow.. I take the time back.. The actual time was not 12:59, my clock is two minutes slow obviously. This was posted at 7:01pm (which goes with my 71 and 17 weirdly) but taht would be 01:01 my time.. or 1:1… Weird. This freaks me out a little bit.

Social Security #: XX11X11XX (a pattern.. 2 digits, 11, digit, 11, 2 digits)… the last 4 of my social security # (11XX) = 11 when added together…
My phone # = XXX – XXX – XXXX which = 14 – 11 – 19 = (added together) 44 = division of 11.
My current address street # is 4322 = 4+3+2+2 = 11.
My current zip code = 34(11)6.
My old zip code = 34(11)2 and when added together = 11.
My older zip code = 34103, when added together = 11.
My current work street # is 4133 = 11.
Binary for my FULL name has 56 1’s in it.. 5+6 = 11.
Binary for just first and last name = 44 which is (again) a division of 11.
I’m sure I could find more if I try harder but this is weird already.

Wow. I just recently began telling people I know about what I have been experiencing over the last 2 years. Due to the date today, I told the story to a co-worker. He told me that I should google 1111. I can’t explain the feeling I had when I did and saw the results. I truly believe there is “something” to it. I have so many what I consider bizaar experiences with 1111 and 111.

To Lara: I am glad to see a few people who have been long time seer’s of the 11:11 happenings. I am 48 and this has been happening to me since I was a teenager. (at least that is when I noticed it). I always thought of it as a positive thing and it still makes me smile when it occurs. I noticed reading lots of these posts that many people like myself have not been drawn to organized religion of any sort. Spirital yes, but not the church going type.(I wonder why that is). I also wonder why I am here on earth and for what purpose! I also have many “real” dreams and many come true…also things you “just” know! Hi all! I am a 42yo who has had consistent 11:11 experiences since I was 13… Ever since I was given my first digital clock for my bedside by my parents. I’ve seen it everywhere during the last 30 yrs- home & auto clocks, microwave oven displays, movies, overpass bridge height signs, vcr displays, the list goes on.
I, like almost all others experiencing this I’ve learned, have always felt “something” when this happens. I cant explain it well at all and have wondered if it did mean anything meaningful to me personally, then normally I shake it off & talk to myself about “being a goober! & being a nut” by entertaining the thoughts that there might actually be some point in them that I’m missing.
Just a little info- I’ve always been spiritual, not religious, very open minded and extremely curious about all topics of spirituality…world religions, ancient religions, histories and origins of cultural religious beliefs, numerology, tarot, wicca, etc… All my life both myself and others (usually family) have been astounded by seemingly uncommon moments of intuitiveness that I’ve displayed at completely random times.
All this being said, I have never actually researched my 11:11 experiences and have NEVER known anyone else personally that also has these. Right now, after reading all that I have tonight (from more than just this website) concerning this topic, there is just so much running through my head that I’m somewhat overwhelmed. To know there are so many more like me, that there might actually be a meaning to it all… I just dont know how to express – there’s confusion, disbelief, relief, hope…a broad spectrum of feelings.
I guess I just wanted to let someone know (outside of my immediate family-who by now joke about it) that I am here too? If that makes sense?

I, too have been seeing this. I was prompted to look up 11:11 by a friend (who doesn’t have a computer and is losing her eyesight) I have found the information here very interesting as well as the comments left. It does give me encouragement that I (we) are not alone and/or on the brink of a medical disorder. I’m with Artie from Texas, no-one can convince me that this (11:11) is bad or nothing but coincidence. I believe that it is a sign…. take it for what you will, I think it will mean different things to different people. None of it bad, just another path to the same enlightenment

At first I was a little freaked out by all the callers who were asking what this meant. Some psychics feel the number 11 means twin flames…etc.
For me, I go by energy, not books. The thing that freaks me out more than the number of people asking what this means…..is that I get no answer.
It’s almost as if the answer is being blocked. No feeling of good or bad….just nothing. Like something is minipulating the connection.
Very strange.

I am a victim of the “11:11″ along with my wife. Ever since we have been together we have been seeing this everywhere. We live in Salt Springs, Florida in which we just purchased the house last year. The back porch has four pilars 1111. We see this on clocks. We see it on road signs. Our address has an 11 in it. At work I was watching one of the security cameras and it states on the bottom of the screen Camera 11 port 11. We were in church last Sunday and we had a guest speaker for what ever reason he states his wife’s birthday was 11-11 and so on. I have been going through this for about 3 years now. I am searching for the answer to this. We are still in the freaked stage. I have talked to friends about this but they are like you are crazy. At least now I know it’s not just us.

Julie – I have been seeing 11:11 and 11 minutes after the hour since July. In the past three days I’ve been seeing it all day. I read last night that it is supposed to mean someone is trying to get a message to you. I am being blocked, I cannot get anything through. I’m so glad you wrote that because I thought it was just me.
What the heck is this 11:11? I’m with Larry, I’m in the freaked out stage.

Me and my partner have been together 11 years. We both see 11:11 very regular. I Strongly believe it is a sign from god. When the apocolipse comes, people who believe will hear the call of Jesus. In 2012 God will rid the world of all its dirt, being the human race. A few people, the superior beings, People with the ability not to judge will survive. These people are born in the 80’s and this new generation (children). I strongly believe the lord brought me and my partner together for one reason. To carry our children through to the next life. I think 11:11 is linked to the end of the world. And those of us who see hit have a chance of survival. We just have to BELIEVE. With angels above for guidance we can make it. I am 27 and I’ve only been to church about 7 times. I am not a preacher. I am a believer.

I’m here, in Brazil… and lots of crazy things happened to me since 2007/2008… But today was really emblematic, ‘cause I started to look for it all, look for some explanation, just to understand these numbers, and why I feel so strange whit these phenomenon… and than, just when I found some websites about it, the street lights went off 3 times… not one, not twice., I MEAN TREE TIMES! I’m skeptic 2, but now I can’t deny this connection with the unknown.
I’m a little bit scared, curious… but mainly amazed!!!

Ive been seeing 11:11 since I was 14. I was in an algebra class and the teacher asked me what time it was. I looked at my watch and it was 11:11. It felt kind of weird, and I thought about it off and on for years. Then My dughter was born at 11:11 at night in 1995. After that, I find myself waking up at 11:11 several times a week. It still goes on to this day.
Im glad I’m not the only one seeing this number.
If everyone leaving posts here were all named Chris, then I would really freak out.

Hello everyone! I hope this finds you all well! I am doing well, had a great holiday, but my experiences with seeing 11:11, 1:11, 10:01, 10:11 were absolutely ‘Out of hand’ in comparison to my usual once a day or so sighting. Frankly it was overwhelming. I need to know what is going on. When I first started seeing it about two years ago, it was just coincidence for a long while. Then about a year ago I started to somewhat acknowledge that it was a strange coincidence. And around this past spring I was starting to think I was either going crazy, or I just had sub consciously accustomed myself to seeing the 11:11/1’s everywhere and started pointing it out to my family and joking about playing the lottery, etc, haha, no real big thing. Now, I see it all the time, my family has been aware of this “weird” thing for a long time and we all have just laughed it off. I recently over the past three to four months started becoming more interested in things I would learn about from programs on the history and science channels; other worlds, secret societies, mayan calendar, etc. So one evening I decided to look up secret societies I think it was on google, and as I was scrolling down I see a tab for “The 11:11 phenomenon”"!!!! I just about pee’d my pants and screamed for my husband and my son, I was in shock that MY WEIRD NUMBER INCIDENTS were a world wide connected occurence for so many others! I was SO FREAKED OUT,RELIEVED, CURIOUS, IMPATIENT TO KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING, EAGER TO UNDERSTAND! But most of all there began a growing peace inside of me and it still is growing. I read all of your posts, took advice, opened my mind to possibilities from angels and spirit guides to quantum physics! I also have started to find a gracious way to accept that as BIG and PROFOUND as my new realizations, feelings and understandings may be-that I am but an infantescimile speck in the entire perspective of what all we know to be in existence. Smaller than small. But my heart feels so HUGE IN HOPE, like it could hug and love the entire world and what lies beyond. Isn’t that something? And that gives me a feeling that there is a reason for the increasing occurences of number sequences that are now manifesting in ways beyond just clocks, receipts,appointment times,prices, hotel room numbers(111 and 110, in two different hotels,two different states,two weeks apart just over the holidays)
…, it is all around me. I truly feeling like someone or something is trying to get my attention, plucking me on the back of my head to pay attention, that I have something I am going to have to do and I better get my sh.. together and be ready, like something is coming or going to happen. But I am not afraid, i am okay with it. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS! Sorry to scream. I know I am not crazy, I know what is in my heart and soul and it is good. I am just a regular almost 40 year old on(3/21/2010) woman who is experiencing some pretty irregular things on a regular basis.Ha ha ha! Since about 5 years ago I noticed that I always see 11:11 and most recently (about a year ago) its getting worse. Im at the point where its mentally bothering me. I even went so far to see a psychiatrist for her to tell me I have OCD with the nuber 1111. I told my husband and my best friend about my experience with 1111 and they said its just a number its meaningless and my husband says I look at the clock too much. I do see it other places too house numbers ect. I do make a wish everytime I see it 11:11 or 1:11. I make the same wish everytime never anything different for the past 5 years. I get scared sometimes and think it means something bad is gonna happen. It makes my sick when I see it. I just wish I knew what it meant or what its trying to tell me. Also, I have to note that mine, my husbands and both my children all names are 11 letters (including last name) Im hoping this is a good sign that maybe we were destined to be a family.

I don’t know whether this counts or not but when I was a child my Grandmother told me that if you see 11:11 that means somebody loves you.
It still happens sometimes that I look at the clock, see 11:11 and say to myself:”Great somebody loves me!”
And I don’t know whether this is self induced or not but I have often experienced this pleasant warmth in chest when I see 11:11.

I too have been experiencing 11:11 since I was about 15 and have been desperately trying to find answers. Until tonight I have not even noticed that since I was 15 my opinion on the world and life was changing. ANd yet I still searched for answers. It was this video below that made me suddenly realise that I had been finding my answer all this time. Everything in this video is exactly the way I have been thinking since I my first 11:11 experience. I am sure that many of my answers will never be answered but at last I am beginning to understand.
